AG Candidate Smeared for Supporting Nullification

A reader tells me the major Connecticut papers are having a field day with GOP state attorney general candidate Martha Dean because of her support of nullification.  Poor Thomas Jefferson: he’s become radioactive in his own country.  I’m afraid my schedule is impossible right now or I’d be writing more in her defense.  (I did write this brief piece the other day.)  I am sure that whatever is being said about her is idiotic and reveals zero knowledge of history.  Anyone who would like to defend her, write letters to the editor, etc., is welcome to draw ideas and information from the nullification section on my Articles page.

Unlearn the Propaganda!

  • Martha Dean

Dear Tom, thanks for getting the truth out about the U.S. history of interposition, also known as nullification. The debate is on, and our country will be stronger and more educated for having engaged in it. Finally, U.S. citizens are again learning the full history of our amazing society and its radical experiment with freedom.
Thanks again for your part in all of this.

Ms Dean, I’m glad to see someone who is truly committed to the rule of law running for the office of Attorney general.

Ms. Dean, I wish you the best of luck in dealing with the “educated” imbeciles who are attacking you. I met Brenna Findley , who is running for the Iowa Attorney General’s office, at a gun show recently. She is very astute, like you. She vowed months ago to protect Iowans from Obamacare and other federal transgressions by joining the other AGs in suing the fed. She’s more manly than the jelly-fish backboned patrician Tom Miller, who she seeks to upend.

    Semper Fidelis!
