Congratulations to Steve Bierfeldt

On being named the new executive director of the Republican Party of Iowa. I can testify from personal experience that Steve is super-competent, smart, principled, and in general just a class act. Any organization not seeking to keep Steve at all costs should have its collective head examined.

Unlearn the Propaganda!

If you remember, Steve’s the guy who was detained by the TSA and recorded his interrogation.

if he is being congratulated on this site I will assume he does not support Ron Paul ?

Is this sarcasm, or do you genuinely know nothing about this site?

Hopefully Steve will not become corrupted like Rand Paul seems to have.

I doubt my comment will be appreciated.  Barring extreme circumstances, a class act would not join a corrupt party.  It doesn’t matter if Steve joined either dnc or gop, he is going to be swimming in a pit of filthy dirty with snakes.  I have never seen any libertarian get much done in gop party.  Sure, you can raise high-level issues and not expand upon them while working with lousy aides who tell you what you can and can’t do.

You can’t join another party with your platform and have any success at it.  The federalists succeeded in taking over dnc and gop because of the way they operated and the resources they had.

You cannot take over from the inside by being open about it and at the same time playing by dnc/gop corrupt rules and being in ‘good standing’ with them, which allows you to stay within their party as long as you behave.

    I expect great things.

Great to have Steve back in Iowa.  Met him when he was here prior to the straw poll, great choice by A.J. and the Central Committee.

I wish Steve Bierfeldt all the best!
