CPAC Today!

Today I’m in D.C. for the Conservative Political Action Conference, held at the Marriott Washington Wardman Park.  I’ll be on a live (at FoxNews.com) edition of Freedom Watch around 12:30, then speaking in the Delaware room at 2:00.  At 3:30 I’ll be signing books at the Campaign for Liberty booth in the exhibit hall.  At 8:30pm I’m emceeing an event with Ron Paul and Judge Andrew Napolitano in Thurgood Marshall South/West.  Should be fun!

    Hi,

I caught your session at CPAC yesterday, and wanted to say how much I appreciated it. Overall I was deeply disheartened by the whole event – I’m not sure exactly how a movement that reveres Thomas Jefferson got so anti-intellectual – but you were unquestionably the high point.

I make a point of identifying and pointing out people who don’t know what they’re talking about. I met a lot yesterday. You were a refreshing change. Thanks.

About time there be a blog so we can rant and support your cause which should be consider common sense but America prefers to be caught in a liberal progressive dream land. God bless you

I agree with almost all you say, I have for years supported and followed Ron Paul BUT … in your interview you say something like, “we’ve never seen this before”, referring to the current movement questioning/ challenging the clear abuse of federal power. However, I am old enough to remember 1964 when Goldwater was able to achieve the republican party presidential nomination beating Nelson Rockefeller. It was the culmination of many years of increasingly attended audiences listening and reading people like Cleon Skousen, (author of The Naked Capitalist), etc.) I witnessed how the MSM trashed Goldwater. The “establishment put forth Bill Buckley to divert that movement. I wonder how this rising resistance will likewise be trumped but the likes of Limbaugh or Hannity or Glen Beck? The internet offers hope that is why the gov’t wants so much to censor it. Sadly, look at what the “freedom-loving” Texans did recetnly, rejecting Debra Medina and once again, nominating big government, globalist, Republican Rick Perry. Still, I wish you well. I too do what I can via the internet to awaken as many as I can. Bye.
