Estonia Leader’s Twitter Feud with Krugman to Become an Opera

Last June Paul Krugman disputed the effects of Estonia’s austerity measures. The resulting Twitter feud between Krugman and Estonian president Toomas Hendrik will be made into a short opera, says U.S. composer Eugene Birman.

There must be a hilarious one-liner in response to this news item, but for the life of me I can’t think of what it is.

Unlearn the Propaganda!

Another Krugman song and dance, perhaps?

Update: Estonian President Toomas Hendrik will donate $100,000 to a New York City food bank if Krugman plays himself in the new opera.

It’s not over until the Fed lackey sings.

How’s this?: If political rants on economic measures be the food of operas, tweet on.
A little cheesy, but I liked it.
