Music Post #3

There is something compelling about this haunting song by Blackfield.

(Incidentally, tonight some friends and I are seeing Journey, with Loverboy and Pat Benatar. Not my style, by and large, as you regular readers know, but probably an enjoyable evening all the same. I’m calling it my mid-life crisis concert.)

Unlearn the Propaganda!

@ plenarchist, no with Arnel Pineda who is just as good as Perry. He has been in the band since December 2007. Where have you been? ;-)

Where have I been? Hmm… I can’t remember. But I’ve listened to Arnel some and he does do a nice job sounding like Perry but I just can’t let Perry go. Formative years and all… I lived through most of my favorite bands breaking up or going pop in the 80′s. I witnessed MTV murder the music I loved most. Now I suffer PTSD from the whole experience… (well, not really)
