My Speech at Paul Festival: Ron Paul, Army of One

Tom, a wonderful speech. Is the crowd as small as it looked on another video I saw of your speech? A far cry from the Rally for the Republic, but no the attendees are the hard-core remnant.

  • Anonymous

Wonderful. You don’t mince words Mr. Woods.
I already sense that Ron Paul has achieved legend status, despite not having yet retired.
The Republican shenanigans and censorship, the all round blackening of his name; that he was a lone voice, never once faltering, while they laughed and mocked him, and his non-endorsement of Romney, has cemented his legacy as a modern day political contrarian.
Now any attempt to erase him from existence, or thwart future dissent, via the inexorable rigging of future debates, can only serve to reinforce the message.
    I won’t lie Tom, it’s going to be tough in 2016 ;-)

    Perfect message. Perfect timing.

    Thank you, Mr. Woods.

Sorry, Ron Paul panders like all politicians. He just panders to a different group of folks. Paul still has “easy answers” — slogan really. Bumper stickers. He kept using different slogans until he found some that worked, like going through a bunch of keys till you find one that turns the lock. I know his history — not the bs. I know his real history. I know why he got in politics, and he has not changed since. He has only changed his slogans to make them slick, and appealing because he changed the slogans UNTIL they were appealing. You can pretend otherwise all you want. YOu can convince yourself of anything. Ron Paul should not be president. It made sense for him to be a Congressmen because many of his constituents were a lot like him.But not president.

Any material that you can base your claims on?

  • Gregory

Very nice speech but I must say I am a little off-put by referring to Mr. Romney as a reprehensible human being and a monster.

  • http://www.TomWoods.com Tom Woods

He supports a grotesquely immoral foreign policy. Call a spade a spade once in a while.

  • J Fournier

Just saw a video someone captured of Peter Schiff at Paul Festival reading an old text from Jesse Benton telling him he should reconsider Paul Festival because it is “bad news”, the “bad people organizing it”, and “a big fringe element”. Tom, I wish Jesse Benton had been exposed as a creep 18 months ago! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9BX5B9vhw4

  • Pastor Ko-Rect

Great message! With your extraordinary talents, you might want to consider becoming a man of the cloth. You would be great ambassador of the ultimate source of everything. And you would reap the rewards well into eternity.

  • http://twitter.com/HeatForce Jay Brown

Well one thing you have to realize was the infamous text message was letting Pete know that P.A.U.L. fest and the campaign were not associated since Paul was holding a separate rally elsewhere. It was more of a private, personal “heads up”.

  • J Fournier

Of course… that’s the way a sneaky creep would do it. If he had done it publicly then the PAUL Festival people would have had a chance to defend themselves. Obviously Peter aleady knew the campaign was not involved.

Thank you Tom, wonderful speech.. can you tell me if Peter Schiff attended the paul festival after the negative text from Jesse Benton? I am trying to watch all the speeches but can find nothing on Peter Schiff except for the video on the text sent to him. Any info is appreciated, thank you again

  • http://www.TomWoods.com Tom Woods

Yes, but he attended the following day.

  • http://www.facebook.com/michelle.copp.14 Michelle Copp

ok, thank you very much :)
