Ohio Bill Seeks to Nullify New Gun Rules

The Fraternal Order of Police opposes the bill because it is “unconstitutional” — why, don’t you know “federal law trumps state law”?

As an Ohioan, I’m very happy to see this. However, I have a sneaking suspicion that Governor Kasich wouldn’t enforce it if it became law. He likes to talk the talk, but almost never walks the walk.

So the Fraternal Order of Police says only the the federal courts can declare what is and is not unconstitutional…. except when they (the police) proclaim that nullification is unconstitutional…

Why only the “new” gun laws? Aren’t the “old” gun law equally unconstitutional?

Does it say “shall not be infringed” or doesn’t it?
