Rand Paul Endorses Filibuster of Chuck Hagel

Senator Rand Paul has told CNN that he considers it appropriate for the Senate to filibuster the Chuck Hagel nomination.

I’m starting to have some doubts and my doubts are that if you’re going to run the Department of Defense, you really need to reveal if you’ve had financing from foreign groups. There’s all kinds of rumors all over the internet about foreign groups that may have provided financing and I think he needs to reveal that, and so I am one who is saying, yes, I do need a little more information before making a final decision.

Unlearn the Propaganda!

Um I’m not buying it. I think Rand is walking the fine line between angering libertarians of his father’s ilk because he is willing to bomb Iran and angering Israel-first crowd who hate Hagel just because Hagel won’t bow to those interests. I personaly don’t like Hagels one world UN philosophy — he’s for the AWG hoax and all so he’s not a ‘good’ republican, but he’s right on not letting one single country rule us and run our foreign policy to our detriment.

And let’s all remember: AIPAC is not “foreign”. Har Har

As if it really matters WHICH statist stooge holds these cabinet positions. As if whoever ends up in that office ISN’T going to obey whatever marching orders are passed to him from dear leader. What a waste of time and effort.
