The Woods Family Secret to Moist, Delicious Turkey

We all want moist turkey, but we rarely get it. Some people even think turkey is naturally dry, and is inedible without gravy. You have had poorly prepared turkey, my friends.

Here is how my wife makes the most moist, delicious turkey I have ever had, and she does it year after year.

It’s a good thing that I am not invited to the Woods household for Thanksgiving dinner, because that turkey would be gone in a flash.

    Just fry it.

  • Jeremy

    Same here. Gotta love it!

This recipe is exactly how I have roasted chickens for years. Never tried it on a gobbler though, but on chicken it works great.

I am going to make Thursdays turkey exactly as Heather
says. Already purchased an 11.5 lb.
    Honey Suckle Fresh.

Since I also subscribe to ” simple is better”, I
may mix all ingredients in a bowl, stuff, then use juice/oil from bottom of
    bowl to rub exterior.

I will let you know how it turns out.

Happy Thanksgiving to the Woods Family and entire Austrian
    Community,

    Jeff from Northern Colorado
