What I’ve Been Reading

In a live Q&A chat the other day, someone asked what I was reading. This was my answer:

Philipp Bagus, The Tragedy of the Euro
Detlev Schlichter, Paper Money Collapse
Ludwig von Mises, Marxism Unmasked

Unlearn the Propaganda!

  • JRT

I’ve already read ‘The Tragedy of the Euro’ and think it’s a very good introduction into the problems we are facing in Europe.

  • Art

Now Mr. Woods, do you recommend the Paper Money Collapse?

I am going to check out “The Tragedy of the Euro,” after I finished up Schiff’s latest book.  Bagus is a bright guy and looking back I wish I had stumbled across Austrian Econ when I was in High School.

Paper Money Collapse is a great book. Detlev Schlichter is outstanding at explaining the business cycle and explaining the ignorance in the viewpoint that the gold standard restricts growth.
