What Pandora Dug Up for Me

Based on my preferences, Pandora started periodically playing songs by the Polish band Riverside. I’ve taken a particular liking to this one.

    Tom, two bits:

    1. I think you’d dig the Canadian band “The Tea Party.” No, I’m not making a joke; they formed in 1990 and have nothing to do with the political movement!

    2. Marillion’s coming to North America this year, do you have your tickets yet?

Tom, if you like these guys you should definitely check out the unfortunately defunct band
    Sieges Even:

They’ve got some good stuff, and don’t tread too far into “heavy” territory.

I already do, but I’ll probably take them all private. I’m too embarrassed by my other stations….

    2. They won’t be anywhere near me! Grrr.

When Sieges Even disbanded singer Arno Menses and guitarist Markus Steffen founded their new band Subsignal.

Their play rock that is melodic and progressive. I love their two albums. Especially their latest ‘Touchstones’.

Btw the last time I talked to Markus I explained the Austrian business cycle to him and he was definitely interested. I will be seeing him and the rest of the band again in the beginning of March in Vienna.
